Summer Event Updates

So, how do I update the last month and a half, maybe?! Well, we can start off with these AMAZING flowers that my husband sent to me from over in Iraq!!!! Isn't he the best!! And they arrive on the PERFECT day!!!!!! I wanted to cry when I got home and saw them!! Isn't he just the sweetest man that you have ever met?!


And isn't he the cutest too?! = ) This is Josh gettin pics of a major sand storm that blew thru the area! Isn't this nuts?! And this isn't even the worst of it, he says!!! Oh my goodness!! W-O-W!! Anybody ever seen the Mummy?!

And here is Anne and I at La Jolla Beach, on a rather cloudy day! It was actually sunny and not windy earlier that day! But, once we got there, it was cold and kinda nasty! then once we left, pure sunshine! How rude!!


And here are our friends, Rafe and Kyna Beresh; they went to La Jolla with us. = ) Aren't they just so cute?! These two are some of the nicest ppl that I have ever met!! = ) And man, can Kyna cook!!!! Mmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And this is me and my new mount, Max. Max is an interesting character. He has a mouth as soft as butter and sides like lead!! And this past Sunday, we had a "Rodeo Ride", meaning he started to gallop and THREW ME INTO A FENCE!!! Lol, and all 3 trainers that were out there giving lessons, said I did a damn good job trying to stay on but, he wanted me OFF! And that is exactly were I went! OFF! And into the fence!! I landed pretty hard on my left hip; I've been stiff and sore all weekend but, and finally starting to feel better! I rode Onassis yesterday, as a break, and we did a little trail ride to mix it up a bit! = )
And this was later on Sunday night, after Max threw me; Anne and I walked to the dog park down the road behind my apartment complax so that way I didn't get stiff (er)! = ) It was a fun little walk, except for on the way back when it was all up hill! Geez!!!!!!
And for those of you who do not already know, Anne is going back earlier than expected. instead of staying the whole summer, she is going back to Indiana on June 12th. Her b/f talked her into goin back so.....
.... now its just me and my babies again! Soon anyway. What would I ever do without my girls? They are my constant... always waiting behind the door when I come home at night..... always curling up beside me to go to sleep (when they don't feel the need to annoy Anne)... playing with me... hoping up on my lap when I am sad.... = )

And sooo........ this makes me updated!! Anne and I still have lots of stuff to do in the week & a 1/2 before she leaves!! Like, go catch a movie at the theatre so I can show her how BIG it is (I also saw Pirates of the Carribean 3 this past Saturday!! Good Movie!), eat at Islands, go to the Zoo, drive up Highway 1, and things like that...... = ) And Saturday, GUESS WHAT?!?! I get to have another VIDEO CONFERENCE WITH JOSH!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How exciting is that?!! And Saturday is his BIRTHDAY!!!!! Yea!! What a present!!! Lol, for both of us!!! I can't WAIT to talk to you baby!!!!

Well, I'm off to watch Maid in Manhatan with Anne! MUAH!!! Love y'all!!

80 days and counting...

For any of you who have checked out Josh's blog (quigleyjd.blodspot.com ), then you already know that he went on a helo ride for 8 hours being an aerial gunner. and he got to deliver mail. ; ) He had fun being a mailman and he got to meet a lot of interesting ppl. And, he said, guys whose lives are far worse off than his is out there. So please, keep them in your prayers.

And here he is workin workin workin!!! My baby is a work horse!!! ( A cute one tho!!)Josh has been sent to QA!! Doesn't he just look miserable!! He wasn't made to be behind a desk!! Lol, not MY husband!! He will work himself to death running around on the go, but if you put him behind a desk, it just might be the death of him! This picture actually almost made me cry because he looks so tired! He assured me tho, that he was actually laughing in this picture because they were making fun of him for sitting down for once!! Lol!

YEA!!!! We have reached our 80 day mark!!! Can you believe that we have less than 3 months left to go?!?! WOW!!!!!! It still amazes me that we have covered all that time already! When it was happening, it was torture it was going so slowly!!! But now, looking back, I wonder where all the time went. But, I also know, and I will never forget, that that time was full of learning, and patience, and heartache. But, we will get there. Just wait. = )

So, my job is pretty cool. I'm making ID's all day long now! I meet some pretty interesting ppl along the way! And my "shop" is awesome!! Sgt Miller is 9 months pregnant and due anyday! So, pray for her!! And for Brandon and Jen Bruce!! Their baby is due in 32 days!!! Yea!! I am sooooooooo excited!! I've been tracking the baby's progress for months!! Well all, I am off of here for the night!!! I'll update more pics of me once I get them!! Anne and I might go to the Zoo this weekend. We'll see! I'm on a budget this paycheck!! MAJOR portions of the truck bill got paid off~! = ) But, don't worry, even if we just lay out at the pool here in the complex for free, we'll have pictures for ya!! Lol!

Up to date...

Ok!!! Mostly, I am up to date!!! I was gonna do more but, between updating this and my face book, I am TIRED!!! It's 2230... and I know that I'm not gonna sleep anytime soon but, I gotta try!! My eyes hurt tho so, I can't stay on here for much longer!! Tomorrow I will upload all Josh's new pics on here!! He looks so cute!!!!

As for me.... I am not working in a squadron anymore... FAP'd out once again, and htis time to the I.D. Center, which is really fun actually! I have caught on fast so, it's pretty easy! And so laid back! Man! It's nice to have a 0715- 1530 schedule instead on 6-6!! What a break!! And when Josh comes home, he says that he's just gonna get off when I do! Haha!! I love him!! And miss him!!! but, we're FINALLY past 90 days!!! A little over 3 months left! And think, it seems like he left only yesterday.....

But, I am off to try and get a few hours of sleep! The chiropractor was not excited about my stiffness in my neck and back when I went to see him today so... I should probably go do my excersices!! = S

Dinner with the Beresh's!

We had Rafe and Kyna Beresh over for dinner on Sunday night!! It was NICE! I love these guys!!! I worked with Rafe over in Iwakuni, Japan and met his wife Kyna thru him. And they are an AWESOME couple!!! Josh and I just love them!! They are always inviting me over for dinner, tryin to get me outta my house! Lol! And Anne loves them too!!! They are just a wonderful, Christian couple that we have been so lucky to become friends with! And josh, baby, when you get home, we're all gonna eat together again!

YES!!! I am riding again!! One of my truest passions in LIFE is being on the back of a horse!!! And I am sooooooooo lucky to have had great help in finding this place! I am blessed beyond reasoning!

Lunch in Newport Beach

Anne and I went to eat Lunch with Drew and his friend Jasmine in Newport Beach on Saturday after I got off work! It was a fun experience!! After lunch with them, those two went to study for finals while Anne and I went to explore Balboa Island! It was fun!! We're gonna go up a whole day one Saturday....

New Bed... or new toy?

So, if you were 2 rambunctious little kitties, what would you say?! A new bed for naptime or a new toy to vault on and off of and chase each other around? Well, I would say BOTH!!! Haha! These 2 crack meup! haha! Too bad that I don't have pictures of them playing, tho.. just napping.... so far.....
