I know that it has been a while since I have updated and I am sorry, I'll back date soon. The point of this blog is to ask for your prayers. A few hours a go, my 2 year old nephew Matthew was hit by a car. To make a long story short, he was playing at the side of the house in the dirt when a lady came speeding thru the alley by my sister's house and didn't see him. She hit him as he stood up, knocked him 20 ft and unconscious. He has regained consciousness and is being flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to check for internal bleeding and to diagnose a broken leg. Please keep him and my family in your prayerrs, as this has made a horrible Father's day for my dad who is so distraught, and pray for my sister to stay calm as well. It can't be easy seeing your child get hit by a car and not be able to do a thing for him! = ' ( Pray for a smooth and quick recovery.
And, Josh, if you get see this.... please call me...
1837 Update: Ok, mom called. She's a 1/2 hour away from the hospital. Mattie was lifelined to Parkview after the doctor pushed on his stomach! =' ( The Trama Center told mom not to fly, to give them time to check him over. And then she won't have to be sitting and waiting. My sister is in hysterics. Mattie is not staying conscious, due to his severe concussion. We hope that's all it is. Adn it's been confirmed. He has a broken left leg. Alogn with road rash on his left leg and bruising to his chest, abdoman, head and face. Please pray...
2131 Update: Mattie is gonna be ok! Other than his broken leg, road rash, and bruises, he is good! No internal bleeding or head trama, aside from the concussion. The trama pediatrician is gonna be in in the mroning to say whether or not he'll need pins in his leg but, other wise, he is healthy and well! He did thro up in the helicopter tho! But, his EMT's liked him so much that they came to check up on him after they got off and plan to check up on him again in the morning! Everyone just loves that kid! And his Flamin hair!
Thanks everyone, for all your prayers...
